Fluxbox Themes (ArchBlack)
So here’s my first modded Fluxbox theme.
I’ve been alternating between Openbox and Fluxbox on Arch Linux, and while I really like Openbox, I like Flux for different reasons. However, I could never find a theme I liked. I’m all set with the Litestep styled trendy themes, and while I dig the old school clunky themes on Freshmeat, I like a simple black theme best.
I use Murrina-CarbonX with Openbox, but couldn’t find anything similar for Fluxbox.
I had found 5lack8lack (link) over at Freshmeat, but it wouldn’t show up correctly on my Arch box. So, I changed some colors, flipped some gradients, and made some tweaks. Here it is nice and dark. All credts to the original author.
Copy into whateverthefuck text editor you use, and save as ArchBlack to /home/yourcomputernamehere/.fluxbox/styles:

Currently Consious Streaming Thought Pattern
I switched up OS’s last night, ditching my beloved Ubuntu for Arch Linux, a very good decision in my opinion.
Linux (or GNU/Linux) is something I enjoy immensely, due to the fact that it can be anything you want it to be. You own the OS, the OS doesn’t own you. You don’t lease it, you doen’t license it, you share. It’s built with 100% blood, sweat and tears, just because. Just my opinion.
I’m need to draw more. I need to play more. I need to enjoy more. I need. I want.
I’m letting the sounds of ISIS swarm over me in a swirling thunderstorm of ambient hardcore. Life is good.
First Post And The Network Of Lost Souls
Fuck me, another attempt at another blog. Hello there.
One has to wonder why we, as a intarweb society, feel the need to be heard amongst the billion+ other voices out there. Why we all feel that we are special snowflakes that have unique voices and unique opinions. Why we have the seething urge to document our every thought, emotion, and experience.
I personally think it’s a beautiful fucking thing. Don’t you?
Now, I know, that I will be lucky to get anyone to pass by and read the words that I am typing. I_KNOW_THIS. But, I don’t mind. This is because I too feel the need to share myself amongst the other lost souls. We put ourselves out there, for the slight chance we will connect with someone, ANYONE, who has a intrest in reading the prose we spew.
